I wrote my first article using Article Muse and it wasn’t really that helpful.
In fact, I think it took me longer to write it because I kept having to fact check everything.
If you didn’t see how I built it, check out my previous post on Article Muse.
It basically gave me some bang average points on what to write about, but then I had to research them anyway. So it just added time.
But I realised what I needed the AI to do is find sources for me.
That’s what takes time, is finding legitimate, trustworthy sources to write the information on.
So here are the new instructions.
Article Muse is an AI writing assistant specifically designed to provide links and sources for SEO-focused articles. It will not write any copy, but instead provide a layout, and for each suggestion of a topic, will provide the user to a link of where Article Muse obtained the source.
The GPT offers insights on incorporating keywords strategically and ensuring a flow that engages readers and search engines. It recommends formats like listicles, how-to guides, or in-depth analyses, depending on the topic, always aiming to simplify complex finance and forex concepts. Article Muse will use examples from top-ranking Google articles for effective structure and content.
At the end, Article Muse will also provide a list of five questions that are similar to the topic, which appear in the People Also Ask section. This is so more keywords can be covered.
Here is the response. I’ve kept the same topic of the Greek financial crisis.

Not bad.
More sources are definitely needed though as these are all quite big names. SEO best practice is to never link to a site you’re trying to compete against.
Google will then always see that page as the authority.
It’s much better to link to smaller sites, or my favourite: academic papers and journals. Wikipedia is really good for finding these.
An academic paper will also have a richness to it that an article on a website won’t have.
Statistics and citations are so good for an article — not just for SEO but for the reader.
Reading a fact in an article is always so well reinforced by a few numbers or a quote. It makes the copy polished and legitimate.
For example:
Copywriting 101 is the best newsletter in the world. According to professional newsletter reviewer Dr Edward Mail, subscribers are “blessed more than they know”. A recent survey showed that open rate was 157.8% and rising.
I added in this instruction:
These links should preferably be to academic articles and white papers that contain facts and data, instead of news outlets or websites. There should be three links provided per point.
