SEO is like statistics to me... it makes my eyes cross and my head explode. So glad there's people like you that get it.

“Google doesn’t like SEO” —> that hit home. I find your approach to SEO much more intuitive. Now I want to try this out on a side project haha

Haha yeah I gotta sat that up. Do you think Substack could be linked and act as the blog? Or would that mess with ranking? Like blog.brainfarm. Com

I basically use my Substack as a blog, it's such a nice platform. You could link a website to it in the bio.

Currently I don't see any Substack posts indexed on Google. This explains the reason:

https://www.quora.com/Is-Substack-crawled-by-Google-Why-do-Substack-posts-rarely-if-ever-show-up-in-SERPS

So if you reposted the same article to a blog it would probably be completely fine, and actually quite a good traffic strategy.

Yeah this is such an intuitive platform to use, I really enjoy it. That's too bad that Substack posts aren't indexed. I know it's possible on Beehiiv -- but then you lose the community here. So I like your reposting solution. Might give it a go! Are you thinking of doing that?

No plans yet, but might give it a try at some point. Could post some of them on https://www.finnus.co.uk/, as I already have my newsletter advertised on there.
